Regulatory changes and increasing competition mean that firms have to complete more administrative tasks than ever before. This can lead to an increase in cost and a reduction in levels of client service. One way to minimise the impact of this is through the use of e-Business services in Adviser Office.
Over recent years an increasing number of Providers and Fund Managers have developed electronic links with 1st. Through Adviser Office you can:
- Obtain Real Time valuations from over 15 Providers, at the touch of a button
- Run bulk Fund Updates, allowing you to update all of your plans in one simple step
- Run Bulk Data Downloads for Life and Pension Business, including the majority of Group Business, allowing you to set up and maintain accurate records easily
- Integrate directly with the major portals (Exchange, Assureweb & Webline), reducing the need to re-key information
Adviser Office has links to more providers than any other application in the market place and we are always looking to increase this with other best of breed providers. To see who we integrate with, click on the attached document.
We recognise that e-Business can be a bit daunting, so we have developed e-Business pages on our client Extranet site, to help our users get started. We also have e-Business experts in our support team who can provide information and support when required.
We are constantly looking to improve on our e-Business services. Later this year we are launching an e-commissions module for the electronic reconciliation of commission statements; we are developing a new central Valuations Centre, focused on making the valuations process as simple and efficient as possible; and we continue to work closely with the portals to further improve our quotes and new business links.
